- Elanco Animal Health reported that its second quarter 2024 represented its fourth consecutive quarter of underlying constant currency revenue growth, with 4% year-to date growth driven by pet health and farm animal. Revenue for the quarter was $1,184 million.
- Private equity firm Bansk Group will acquire pet health company PetIQ for about $1.5 billion in cash. The deal gives the consumer-health-focused private equity firm access to PetIQ’s products including over the-counter medications, diagnostic tests, and grooming services. Upon completion of the deal, PetIQ will be privately held and continue to be operated independently.
- Zoetis reported revenue of $2.4 billion for Q2/2024, growing 8% over Q2/2023, and net income of $624 million. This delivered 11% operational growth in revenue and 18% operational growth in adjusted net income for second quarter 2024
